PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ, Proof
The Nashville Bridge Company was formed around 1819 and, according to some sources, maintained some type of business presence into the 1850s. This note, which does not contain the name of the issuer, appears to date from the 1830s or 1840s. The center vignette depicts a steamboat and is flanked by oval cameo-like medallion heads. Both end panels have an identical unidentified male portrait. Three examples of this note appeared in the 1990 ABNCo Archives sale in Lot 1919.
