This railroad was a state project that was actually completed from Sandusky to Springfield, Ohio in 1849. Today the road is a small part of Conrail, which is, in turn, owned by CSX and Norfolk Southern. This is a Proprietary Proof printed by the ABNCo a number of years after the Obsolete note issuing era.
