Gordon & Sammis were the principals of an importing tailor business that produced high-end clothing using mainly European fabrics. The face of this note contains an allegorical woman with an eagle under a banner reading “Seldom Equalled Never Excelled,” with Agriculture and a warship under sail. The back contains information on the firm, its products, and the redemption process.
Possibly/probably the only example of this note.
