Fish sold saddles, harnesses, and other goods related to horses and their owners. The scrip was issued to stimulate cash sales during the Panic of 1873. The face of the note, which has green denomination counters, has a rendition of the coat of arms of New York flanked by vignettes of Agriculture at left and a sailing vessel at right. The back, appropriately, has a vignette of a horse surrounded by text providing information on the business, its offerings, and details of the redemption rules. The first, if only, example of this note Heritage ever offered.
