Proof PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ The bank was chartered in 1806 and remained in business until 1865 when it was succeeded by the National Mechanics Bank of Baltimore. The $10 design is quite striking, using several rarely seen vignettes. The center vignette depicts a shipwright at work while the left vignette shows Commerce and Industry surrounding a large X. A ship under full sail appears in the right vignette.
