Voyageurs National Park



Located in northern Minnesota, Voyageurs National Park is defined by the mesmerizing waters surrounding it. Because primary access to the park is via water, canoeists, kayakers, fishing enthusiasts and adventurers flock to the waterways of the park to enjoy its beautiful and remote landscape.
The medallion’s obverse shows a group of earnest paddlers and the date the park was established, 1971. The reverse shows the beaver, one of the park’s well known animals, and centennial text.
