An unusual sample banknote proof, likely used by salesmen or layout artists. Untitled stock type note sample with open boxes for central title, city bottom center, and the state within bottom border. Ships upper right. End panels with corner “2′ counters and Lafayette at right end. The only other one seen by Heritage is a $1 proof with a different design they sold in June 2021.
