An interesting issue. Based on the text, this is the issue of an unknown Westport customer of the Fairfield County Bank (which was located in Norwalk some three or four miles away). The center vignette is always a conversation starter. It depicts a young Native American boy paddling a small canoe that looks like a bird! A more traditional vignette of Ceres appears at left and cameo-like medallion head counters flank the unusual center vignette.
