From the same series as the $1, this attractive green and black note depicts a large riverboat plying its way upriver past a distant settlement and an oval male portrait. This proprietary proof was printed from the original plates by the ABNCo in the 20th century for various uses and is stamped as such on the back. The $2 seldom, if ever, makes public appearances and therefore this later impression is an excellent way to have the premium grade design represented in your collection.
